I am a full time Emergency Medicine Physician and a Full Winter Guide in the Association
of Canadian Mountain Guides. Prior to begining my medical training, I spent 10 years
working (and playing) in the Canadian Rockies. Some of my work experiences in the Rockies
include 3 seasons of avalanche control in Rogers Pass and many years of summer guiding at the
Canadian Armed Forces cadet camp in Banff Alberta. I am currently involved with the
training of emergency residents at the University of Calgary and enjoy learning and
teaching in both the emergency room and the mountains.
All guides at Candian Alpine Ski Guides are are members of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides.
They are all certified and have passed extensive examinations at the assistant guide or full guide level.
